Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our standard price is $799. We accept $400 down to start the process. The bankruptcy Court charges a filing fee of $338, which can be made in payments OR waived if you qualify as low income.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We offer a free phone consult followed up with an email containing a list of documents needed for your first appointment. $400 is due at your first appointment, which starts the process. We do a thorough client intake and fill out all forms - you are not expected to fill out a packet, as required by most bankruptcy attorneys. We refer our clients to services for credit repair and set them up for future success post-bankruptcy.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Liz Lounsberry has a B.A. with Honors from Northwestern University and a J.D. from the University of Iowa. She is a member of the Iowa Bar and the Colorado Federal Bar; and has practiced law since 1993.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Our office prides itself in providing excellent service at an affordable price. Most bankruptcy attorneys offer a free consultation. Shop around and find someone you want to work with! Make sure their primary practice is bankruptcy! Attorneys who "dabble" in multiple areas of law tend to do poor work.
