Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always like to schedule an initial call with client to review their needs and goals in the pursuit of their legal interests. Once retained, I review the procedure and make sure the client is aware of what steps need to be taken. Then, I gather all facts and documentation from the client, and we begin our pursuit. Keeping my clients informed and zealously representing their interest is of the utmost importance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I routinely participate in Continuing Legal Education in the fields that I actively practice in. I also believe it is extremely important to network and have mentors in the field who are willing and happy to provide wisdom and guidance.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Finding the right attorney is vital. Speak with a few attorneys and trust your instincts. The right attorney will be able to represent your interests in court and be supportive and understanding of your situation and needs in the moment. Court and the litigation process can be stressful, you need someone that is going to be there for you during this difficult time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would implore potential clients to ask professionals what their process for the case is. How do they typically handle the intake process and how often/what is their routine for updating clients throughout the life of the case. Asking and understanding what steps need to be taken in the beginning and throughout the case is a great way to start off your relationship.
