Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process is to first have a phone call with the potential client. In that call, I will ask questions about the person's financial situation to determine if bankruptcy is the right option for them. If they do qualify and it's a good course of action for them, I will inform them of the process and what they would need to gather in order to file.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have my Juris Doctorate in Law and also am licensed to practice law in Illinois.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with people from all different walks of life who have one thing in common- they have fallen on hard times. Bankruptcy gives people a fresh start so they can take back their lives.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Hire someone that only practices bankruptcy. That person is going to know the law inside and out. Someone who practices multiple areas of law will probably not have the same amount of experience dealing with the issues that arise.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Does this person seem like they care about my situation? Does this person seem to want to help me? Do they act patient and willing to explain the process? Do they answer all the questions I have? Are they knowledgeable?
