Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I always offer a free, no-obligation consultation for any services I perform. I also have a $100.00 referral bonus to all customers who provide verified referrals to Carpenter Law. Your referral bonus may be used towards current or future legal services with Carpenter Law.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always prefer a face-to-face consultation, if at all possible. Getting to know your attorney, and being comfortable with your attorney, is key to a successful attorney-client relationship. Depending on the type of services you are looking for, I will always advise you in advance of your consultation what specific documents I will need to review to give you a complete overview of all your legal options.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, and have been in private practice for over 15 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I went into private practice shortly after graduating law school and passing the bar exam. All of my legal experience comes from practical, hands-on training.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with clients from all walks of life, education and backgrounds. This includes consumer bankruptcy clients, civil litigants on both Plaintiff and Defendant sides as well as Homeowner Associations concerning homeowner assessments.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be comfortable with whichever attorney you hire for your needs. If you are not comfortable with your counsel, chances are, you will not get the results you desire.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Make sure your attorney is knowledgeable and has practical experience in whichever area of the law you need assistance.
