What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge a flat rate for bankruptcy cases, and a reasonable hourly rate for all other services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I begin with a telephone consultation. If the client is interested in my services and I believe that I can assist the client, I schedule an initial consultation to obtain necessary information and have the client execute an Attorney-Client Fee Agreement to ensure that they understand the scope and cost of my services.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In addition to my law degree, the California State Bar requires all attorneys to complete 25 hours of continuing education every 3 years to keep informed of changes in laws and legal procedures.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always enjoy arguing and defending people's rights.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Bankruptcy, real estate, wills and trusts, and general civil litigation.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently negotiated a settlement in a landlord-tenant matter which led to the tenants payment of all back-rent, attorney's fees and court costs, and allowed the tenant to continue her lease. A fair resolution all-around.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Word of mouth referrals are more important than 100 ads.

An attorney can be an invaluable ally when addressing major concerns in your life. Don't go it alone.
