Porter Law Firm is fair and reasonable with its pricing. Typically Family law matters are handled on an hourly fee basis but our firm is open to discussing flat fee arrangements as well

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to meet for an initial consultation so that we can develop a personalized legal plan focused on your needs. We are able to start on your case as soon as we initially meet you in a consultation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a licensed and insured attorney. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and my Juris Doctorate degree from University of Nevada Las Vegas.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been practicing family law since I became an attorney in 2014.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The length of a family law proceeding can vary depending on the complexity of the case. Some matters that add complexity are children, assets, and any ongoing disputes between the parties. Our goal at Porter Law Firm is to complete your case as efficiently as possible.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise somebody to really feel comfortable with the attorney you hire, you need to be able to trust them as they are an extension of you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You should think through exactly what you want out of a divorce or family law issue. You should prioritize your desires and find areas that are negotiable and other areas that are non-negotiable. Many family law issues require some give and take from each party.
