Bankruptcy cases at my firm are typically quoted as a flat rate price. The flat rate depends on the complexity of the case. I offer payment plans and do my best to accommodate my clients. Most importantly, I want the bankruptcy process to work for you.

The most important part is that you have a sense of ease while going through the bankruptcy process with me. Therefore, whatever it takes, I am always happy to help. Consultations are always free. Before attending law school, I worked for a bank in their loan department. I often saw how credit was reviewed and acquired by individuals. Once out of law school, I helped clients save their homes from foreclosure before the Washington State Foreclosure Fairness Act was enacted in 2011. I have worked at one of the nation's largest law firms helping people file bankruptcy. I then moved to a small local firm, where I also helped people file bankruptcy. To better understand the other side, I worked for the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee. All of those experiences (over the fifteen plus years) and the clients I have met along the way have helped me better serve people who find themselves needing to file bankruptcy.

I have worked with all types of clients from all walks of life. Bankruptcy does not affect just one sector of the population. Everyone has a unique experience in how they found themselves needing financial assistance. People who struggle paycheck to paycheck to wealthy clients who need assistance in managing and repaying their debt. I was able to help a recently widowed women save her home from foreclosure that her son and she were living in while on fixed income. It was a difficult time for them as the loss of her husband/father was a shock. This individual had not worked in her life and getting her finances in order was a difficult process as her late husband managed the finances in their household. It was nice knowing that the bankruptcy process could help them stay in their home during this difficult time.

My law firm is only myself and I will be handling your matter from start to finish. This is how I prefer to help my clients and I know my clients appreciate my hands on approach. You'll want to find an individual that you feel comfortable with. Please beware of companies (especially from other states) that offer bankruptcy assistance. Also beware of individuals who offer to prepare and file paperwork, but are not attorneys. They cannot give you legal advice and they cannot represent you in the court system.
