Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Each event is different. My prices are based on the needs of your event such as length of the event, driving distance, etc. Most events can range from $200-$600. There is a 50% deposit due at the time of booking to ensure you are locked in to the date and time. The remainder can be paid at the end of the event. If the client cancels prior to 72 hours of the event date 100% of any money will be refunded. If the client cancels within the 72 hours 50% of any money will be refunded.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once we decide on an appropriate quote for your event I will write up a contract and email it to you within 24 hours which you will sign and return back to me. The contract will state all the details of the event that we agreed upon including date and time of event, pricing, length of time for my services, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a Responsible Beverage Service and Alcohol Beverage Control certified bartender. I also have my CA Foodhandlers license.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have a history of working in the hospitality industry and after taking a few years off to take on an administrative roll, I returned to the industry after realizing that I missed that type of business. I have a background in restaurant serving as well as event/banquet serving (weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, etc.). I then decided to move into bartending because it was another way for me to interact with different people and really fit with my personality.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Some of the events I have worked have been weddings, corporate Christmas parties, alumni events at a higher education campus, fundraising, and private backyard parties.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
My advice would be to know what your budget is and be honest about that with professionals. I am not a licensed bartender. Some venues may require a licensed vendor so that is something you will want to know before you hire a professional.
