Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing per event is based off several factors which are included but not just limited to: tip jar availability, services required, and distance of event.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We’re normally a face to face person as well too, we do like to meet any client before an event, we very informative and ask questions, and try to get a feel for what they are looking for in relation to service. Each event can have a different feel and mood and your alcohol should also reflect that. We listen carefully and strive to give the client what they want. We can also offer suggestions and advice when it comes to organizing the event in order to assist the client to make their occasion the best it can be.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All of our bartenders are TIPS certified and can provide proof of such if needed. TIPS (training for intervention procedures) which help our bartenders identify intoxication levels of our guests as well sure way signs of ensuring your party guests are safe. Both myself (Keith) and Freddy have 7+ years experience working in a full service restaurant with management experience to back it.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
For Keith, my 2nd job was at a restaurant, having worked my way up to a server and eventually becoming a bartender. We definitely had an eye for efficiency and a working a fast-paced environment. I had the privilege of working as one of the lead bartenders on a busy weekend night and became a regular closer. As my work ethic progressed I eventually took on a role of becoming a manager and within the restaurants I managed to work at, I took on the role of the beverage manager and oversaw the bartender and server department of each store. I’ve since took on another role a bartender manager at another restaurant while coming to start up this business with my friend whom I’ve had the privilege of working beside after many years in the industry.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We’ve worked with all sorts of clients before, from easy going party planners, to bridezilla’s, to overstressed mom’s planning a huge festival, but regardless of what type of event you’re planning we approach every event the same way and do what we can to help you plan for each event!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The simplest thing we can recommend is to shop around and request quotes and find that one fits within your budge but is going to give you the most genuine experience. Have a conversation with each vendor, request for a number, and have a genuine conversation. While I cannot stress enough that money does talk but so does a worthwhile experience. Every bartender has a different personality, so shop around for one that suits your needs for your event and the type of individuals you want to cater for your guests.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about your budget. Often times we’ve worked with clients that overbuy alcohol (while that may not be a bad thing for you in the long run), many even had a ridiculous amount of excessive alcohol. Have a variety but keep it simple and don't overthink the alcohol. KISS is a saying that I stand by which is to "Keep it simple silly." But most of all have fun and drink and party within your means!
