What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Sipping enthusiast turned bartender. Started at the Midwest Bartender's School of Indianapolis, graduated, became an event bartender, and turned it into my own business in 2017. Have been slowly and surely perfecting my craft for tasty, consistent cocktails ever since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I waited at a country club near my home that hosted different events like weddings and business meetings and birthdays, and I always felt like I was attending them too. I loved being able to meet a variety of people with different interests and lives. I found myself at home when I was asked to help out behind the bar and got to discussing the weather, drama, and stories with guests.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don’t be afraid to ask any and all questions. We know that not everyone drinks! On the contrary, if you know what you want, there’s always a bartender ready to make that happen. The point of booking and hiring a private bartender is to allow for less stress and for you to enjoy your event instead of working it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The main detail you should have figured out- preferably before reaching out to a bartender- is what you need vs. what you already have for the bar. We need to know if you're looking for someone to serve the drinks, or if you're looking for the full bar package.
