Introduction

Greetings, I'm Craig Dane owner/operator of CDE event bartending. Thank you for the opportunity to quote your event and for your interest in CDE! *Our fee includes one extra hour of prep, my portable bar set up if needed, extra coolers/metal bin, cocktail ice bin, barware tools, cocktail straws and napkins, trash can, floor mat, all detailed consultations and constant clean-up. *Fee is plus client gratuity of your choice based on your level of satisfaction and total fee. Fee assumes use of a guest tip jar. Without one add $15 per hour per bartender. Guest tip jars these days are completely hit or miss as many folks don't carry cash nor feel the need to tip. *Please see over 200 FIVE star reviews on Thumbtack, GigSalad, TheKnot, Yelp, Gigmasters and our website. See our Thumbtack Profile and accolades. We have earned Thumbtack's 2023 Top Pro honors NINE years running! Less than 4% of pro's receive this in any one single year! *After deposit I will send you detailed recommendations on ALL product types, brands and quantities needed for your shopping list down to ice and garnish! Our bartenders are assigned the week of the event. *For liability reasons when serving an open bar our max. window of service is FOUR hours plus the one extra prep/set up hour. Our attention to detail and the time we put into making your event a success is second to none in this business. This is info our clients have shared with us :) Beware the "discount" bartender. This service business I created is my livelihood, not my side job. You only have one chance with your all important event and you'll typically get what you pay for. Top notch professional service providers are what you'll get at CDE! ***A $75 non-refundable deposit in either my Paypal (my email) pay 2.9%fee, reserves your date. Pouring permit/license #PRN20220816010. Should your venue require liability ins. please go to theeventhelper.com for reasonable one day rates. Thank you for your consideration, we're here to serve! Craig Dane I am also passionate about and very much enjoy being a WEDDING OFFICIANT! Please see my reviews/photos with my bartending services at CDE Wedding Officiant.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Typically averages out to around $75 per hour including client gratuity and tip jar if permitted. Deposits and paid in full payments are non-refundable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Email, phone or text consultations. Getting the details of what my client is after to make their event the best and most stress free it can be!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have decades of exceptional customer service experience from financial adviser to bartender, as well as theater acting, producing and directing. I am TIPS certified - responsible serving/drinking course. Pouring permit/license #247654.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Love making people smile and bringing something positive to their day. Motivated by years and years of rarely ever finding a bartender who provided the level of service and qualities I expected as a customer.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Every type of private party - weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate affairs, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Oversaw entire beverage operations of Holly, Mi. Renaissance Festival. Responsible for staffing, training, ordering, stocking and exceptional customer service of all 9 spirits booths. 20,000 attendees over 3 day weekends.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Compare price first then go deeper to discern personality, passion, sincerity and of course, reviews and accolades! You want a professional but you should get even more value added service. The corporate cookie cutter bar service is not what you want for your special, possibly once in a lifetime event! Working for large catering companies is a job where you are one of many. Working as the business owner this is my livelihood and my professional reputation is at risk with every event. Who will go the extra mile for you and has more at stake? You deal with only me, one on one, to get all the details covered the way you want them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
First off I think we can assume you are sincerely looking for a courteous, conscientious and professional individual to be a real asset to your event. After that it's just knowing your event details. I'm here to assist and fulfill both needs.
