Hi, My name is Shannen, and I am the owner of I Do Cocktails bar service. My vision is to get quality cocktails that taste as great as they can look for any special event! We are a.b.c. Liquor licensed and insured. We have a range of packages from us bringing a fully stocked bar to your event, or we can help if you just need bartneders and you stocking the bar. All of our staff is a.b.c. Certified and a pleasure to work with. We not only bring a great setup, we have staff that has a fun time with outgoing personality.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

my pricing is a wide range from just renting bartenders all the way to we provide everything to a hosted bar. we also have margarita machines, coffee stations and glassware.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

first meeting The client and finding out what they are looking for and their expectations as for the bar. once we have an idea, I send a quote over. if the quote is accepted, the client will receive a contract. there is a deposit of $200. the remaining balance is then split up into equal payments each month, with the last payment being 15 days prior to the event date.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of I Do Cocktails staff is certified by A.B.C. as well as have their RBS certificate and have a bartender course under their belt.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

my regulars from a bar I worked at started booking me for special events. I loved it so much! I went in 100% and now this is my full time business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

we have worked with a range of clients, from birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, company parties, a little bit of all kinds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

the event was for a business rebranding. The setup was stunning, and the signature cocktails that went into their theme were absolutely gorgeous. with a 580 guest count, the event ran very smoothly. The length of the bar and cocktail waitresses made it an ease.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

my advice would be to hire a licensed or abc certified bartender. make sure they show you the documents. the last thing you want is a drunk bartender, or someone that doesn't know when someone has had too much to drink.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

it would help having an idea on what your expectations are for the bar. Do you want your guests buying drinks? Do you want an open bar? would you like to provide everything or the bar service to provide?
