Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
It is all negotiable, depending on the needs of the host and the event. My base prices are for estimates but never set in stone. Let’s chat to see how I can be of best service to you!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to get the details and expectations from the host. I like to find out their needs and build upon those needs. Problem solving is my specialty and I love going above and beyond for my customers

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Two decades of working in the service industry, both front of the house, back of the house, hospitality, serving, hostessing, bartending, bar, back, festivals, concerts, weddings, you name it. I’ve probably done it. safe serving certified in Kansas in Missouri with ability to get individual day liquor licenses, or permits if needed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
A desire to offer services at something I enjoy doing. So I choose to start small with friends and relatives little party’s making punches and shots, then took my bartending knowledge and started making specific drink/shot menus for certain events and lead to me getting to meet different people where ever I work and networked to expand my business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
The spectrum of clients I have worked for varies from a corporate world, to blue collar, from the overly worried or stressed clients, to clients that are so laid back and just not worried at all. I treat everyone with the best customer service in mind always greeting with a smile and wanting to leave a positive impression on them by the time the event is done!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Know that the vendor you are requesting services from pays for your lead for your event. Please don’t request multiple times, give your vendor of choice a chance to respond and opportunity to create a custom estimate based on your needs. Don’t expect a vendor to work a long event for Pennie’s on the dollar, we pay for your lead, we pay for insurances that protects our company, your guests, and your venue; professional licensing, state licensing, all our tools and equipment, as well as our time spent to prepare, shop and coordinate everything for your event. No one is going to do an event for ten dollars an hour when we have all these items to cover in our fees, if your not happy with a quote talk to me and let’s see how we can fit something to your budget.
