Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I discount repeat customers. I am economical and always considerate of pricing my rates are lower then standard event bartenders with my level of expertise.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process is to understand the event and find out the guests expectations. I also want to know how many guests will be attending the event. Also, if the guests wants a specific cocktail made for the event, the dress code and how soon can we get everything in order for the event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I went to Raleigh’s bartending school and I also was one of the lead bartenders for the only five star property in North Carolina. Through that experience I have contributed to cocktail menus, worked with celebrities, politicians, even royals and I’ve learned to always maintain professionalism, precision and to always deliver beyond expectation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve been in hospitality for the past 10 years working in many different aspects in food and beverage. I’ve been a host, waiter, cocktail server, bartender, lead mixologist and in many different environments (from neighborhood bar and grills to intimate luxurious celebrity filled events) so I am able to work with and understand all walks of life and can deliver on a guests expectations.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Weddings Corporate Events House Warmings Birthday Parties Bachelorette Parties Themed Parties

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I bartended a birthday party for a father whose daughter lived out of state she was able to manage hiring catering, a band, dj, and me all out of state her father was so enthusiastic and it made me happy to experience the level of love in the event and how appreciative all of the guests at the party were of the staff who assisted in helping the daughter make his big day possible. She reached out to me less then a week prior and delivered everything I could have asked for to make the event for her father superb on my end and I was ecstatic to exceed her expectations on mine.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would tell a customer to have an idea of what you are looking for and we can work through the rest. If you want me to just show up and bartend I can do that or if you want me to take care of the entire beverage outlet as well for your event I can most certainly do that but to not reach out unless you are serious about booking.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The questions customers should think through before talking to professionals is what is their budget. What is the exact number of guests that would be attending the event. If the guests want services rendered only or if they want me to handle the entire cocktail program for their event. Also if the guests want to do specialty cocktails made for the event what type of cocktails them and their attendees would enjoy.
