At Affluent Affairs, we are Upstate, SC wedding & event planners focused on providing planning services with extraordinary customer service and exceeding your needs and desires while focusing on the details. We also offer certified bartenders in our bartending packages. Let's begin with a personal consultation where we get to know your style and your stories and you have the opportunity to get to know us. Then the magic begins as we work with our recommended vendors (or yours) to plan the event of your dreams. We can be as involved as you would like us to from full planning to day of coordination. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer Month of Coordination packages starting at $1000 and full planning starting at $3000 up to 250 guests. We offer everything in between & custom packages. We plan all types of celebrations. We charge travel fees for celebrations greater than 100 miles from Gaffney, SC.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We schedule a 30 minute complimentary consult with all of our perspective clients to determine if we are a good fit. Our process is quote, contract & invoice. Once a contract is signed, we work with couples to determine their vision and how we bring the most amazing day to light!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been planning events for over 20 years. We are also certified wedding planners. Our lead planner has a timeline certification.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We began by planning family reunions. We love the logistics piece & watching it all come together.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We welcome all couples & and are inclusive.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We are fond of ALL projects!! Each celebration is unique. We are currently planning weddings, bridal brunches, class reunions, bridal showers baby showers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Your planner / coordinator needs to be a good fit. They will become a part of your personal life as they learn your story. View social media for their work and read reviews. Ask questions!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Have in mind how much involvement you need from your wedding planner. Planners are needed focused on the planning (look, feel, execution) and coordinators are the logistics mavens just tying it all together.
