What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Communication is the key. I will contact the customer (text, email, etc.) and request more details and ideas for the event up until the day of. Staying in contact and making sure that I’m accessible for them to create a successful event!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been bartending for over 17 years; in the NC/ DMV area. I obtain a certificate from the ABC Bartending School in Wilmington, NC and certified through the New Hanover County ABC Board. I love being a Mixologist; it's my craft and I love it!! I’m the Owner and Lead Instructor at Yellow Diamond Bartending Academy; training future mixologists and helping them make memories with their creative cocktails🍺🍻🥂🍷🍾🍹🍸🥃

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started at an event that needed assistance at the bar and I jump behind there and went to work!! I'm a people person and love to learn and have fun experimenting different wine and spirits!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Every race, color, creed, happy, and sad. I love them all. Being a Mixologist, you can brighten up someone evening with a creative🍹🍸 and a simple "Hello. How are you? How can I help you".

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I created a Vinque drink with cake decorating dust. It was sparkling while I was stirring the drink😊. Working with dry ice give you drink excitement with a foggy view😊.
