Introduction

My name is Tevin Watson and I am the owner of Tipsy Sips. I started a mobile traveling bartending business in order to continue on my passion for bartending and to provide a service that is affordable but also allows everyone to enjoy themselves. I've been working as a bartender since 2012 at TGI Friday's and recently just went into doing my own bartending business and I am also an instructor for one of the ABC BARTENDING SCHOOLS. I help create great experiences for any event no matter how large or small. I've done birthday parties, cookouts,anniversaries, weddings, holiday events, bachelorette parties. Prices may vary based off of party size, time frame and location of event

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically like to make contact with the customer(s) within a two week time frame to reassure that all essential needs and supplies are together to create the perfect experience

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a licensed Bartender/Mixologist. I am currently an instructor for an ABC BARTENDING SCHOOL. I have a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in exercise science.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been bartending for several years and after working in 4 different restaurants as a bartender. I finally decided to start my own mobile bartending business

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked in several different types of environments going from restaurants, to corporate holiday parties, to private parties in venues to being a personal bartender for Scarlette Productions. In my 7 years of bartending, I would say I've came across every type of person and love to meet new people all the time

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The advice I would give for a customer seeking someone in this profession, to think about the size of the party, if a drink menu would be needed, what type of experience are you going for, would you like specialty items such as jello shots, popsicles, cupcakes filled with liquor and etc.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much would the business charge for that event, do they offer specialty items in their package, mixers and garnishes needed for the event and the type of crowd they are expecting as their guest when it comes down to drinking.
