Introduction

I make sure that "colorful" is the name of the game. My staff and I arrive colorfully dressed and create a colorful presentation with the materials that we work with. "Aiming to make your events memorable" is my service's motto. Being creative on the job, "thinking on my feet" about new ways to advance the quality of my professional bartending service.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing system is uncomplicated!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I take a deposit upon a hire and then email the new customer some documents for their upcoming event, letting them know what the bartender needs as well as some do's and don'ts for service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I keep in contact with the training program that I graduated from, as well as hold onto and review the textbook from that course.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was originally in the advertising world and decided to find extra sources of income. Bartending, like advertising, was a creative field in which I could enjoy applying myself by learning new and interesting ways to do things. I've never regretted my decision to branch out.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Birthday parties of all sorts are my most common event, as well as graduation parties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
At a recent sweet sixteen party I was proud of how, although we didn't have the most common ingredients at our disposal for fixing a certain drink, I and my staff improvised and, by thinking on our feet, created something exciting and new that the customers enjoyed very much.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I advise everybody who is looking for a bartending service to understand the responsibility of this profession and why it is crucial that such providers be trained professionals such as are found in my service.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Others out there should no that my service is a "no-nonsense" one and that nobody working for me is untrained. There are no "yahoos" on my staff, people who insist that bartending is a profession that anybody can do. I accept no untrained nor uncertified individuals to work for me. Everybody understands the responsibility of this profession and how to say NO to a customer who has had one too many.
