Introduction

My name is Jackie and I have been in the serving/bartending business for 7 years, and my partner has been an upscale bartender in DC for well over a decade. I am an event coordinator and a banquet bartender at a large resort in Myrtle Beach- This gives me a lot of insight on how to plan the best possible bar for your event! I can customize the perfect drink menu for your guests for any type of occasion… I'll provide everything the bar needs and customize the experience to your liking, so you know your event will be a hit every time!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I give a 15% discount for the first time you use Jackie's Mobile Bartending for your event, and a 10% discount for your second event! I also offer a free consultation, over the phone or in-person to plan your event. You can call, text, or email me whenever you need to add or change anything about your event before the date arrives.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to either have a phone or in-person consultation, where I ask a set of questions to make sure I know all the details of your event and can customize the experience to your liking.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from the Professional Bartending School of Washington DC (I also have a Bachelor's degree from West Virginia University in Broadcast Journalism - unrelated) I Bartended and Served at a few different restaurants in DC, and was an Event Bartender and Catering Server for a company Called Capital Restaurant Resources for 4 years - I have bartended at different events all around DC, and I'm excited about bringing my services to the Grand Strand!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started at the bottom in the restaurant industry when I was young; I was a server for a while then I wanted to move up to bartender, so I went to bartending school to get the knowledge I needed to be a good bartender right off the bat. I immediately got my first bartending job and the rest is history! I love what I do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have literally worked with all types of customers, from high-powered government officials in DC to clients who want a small party in their backyard! Everyone is treated with the same type of quality service and the utmost respect... my job is to make your event go seamlessly and be a hit!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would say consider hiring someone who has extensive experience as a bartender in a restaurant/multiple restaurants. You want someone who has experience not only serving all kinds of drinks... but have dealt with many different kinds of customers in different settings, and one that has experience in high volume bartending so they are ready for anything... no matter how big or small your event is. You'll want someone with this type of experience!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
-how big your event is going to be -if your professional needs to bring the bar - what the bar needs to be stocked with for your specific event -What kind of drinks do you want/what drink ingredients would satisfy the majority of your guests (I can help customize your drink list to your liking/your guests' preferences!)
