Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Prices that are given are only estimates. Meaning, we have to communicate to give the best price for your memorable experience! (The price could be less or more than the estimate).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My process is to first and foremost treat the customer like I want to be treated (provide excellent customer service). Secondly, we will observe the budget and the plan for the event. Lastly, we would plan and execute the most memorable social experience of a lifetime!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a teacher by trade. I am licensed and insured to serve alcoholic beverages. I believe in lifelong learning so I am forever in courses and books to stay abreast the bartending industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My best friends and I love our social time together and I would mix us drinks every moment that we were together. I was intrigued by the science and art of creating the cocktails for our moments together! One of my besties is an event planner and motivated me to start my own business mixing cocktails! Not only do I create memorable experiences for a lifetime by mixing cocktails, but I also educate others on how to create those experiences as well.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with event planners for weddings, lawyers for special events and birthday parties, educators for special events, corporate officers for special events and retirement parties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We poured for a NC couple’s wedding. They requested our Oh My! Package for their 150 guests that attended their wedding. We served for five (5) hours. A wine tasting was chosen for their cocktail hour and they also had a signature cocktail. The experience was one that the beautiful couple and their guests will remember!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone that treats you well, not only talk a good game, but walks it as well! Choose QUALITY over QUANTITY any day! You have the dream (plan) now trust your mixologist to bring it to reality!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
-What type of event do I want to have? -What type of vibes (energy) do I want to create/give? -What is the theme of my event? What are the colors? -Where am I having the event? -How many guests will I invite? -How much am I willing to pay for the event?
