Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
That for all mobile bar gigs there are several hours of work that go into prep work to get the bar ready for fast paced service. Cutting fruit, setting up supplies per contract, as well as the cleaning of bar materials are just a few of the processes outside of what the client sees on site.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always ask questions about who, what, where, when, and why is this day important to get a solid foundation of what the client’s needs are. I like to meet in person or speak over the phone to help the client get a sense of who I am as a professional and what I am all about.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have well over a decade mobile event bartending (weddings, private parties, galas, b-days, theme parties, etc), several years of corporate restaurant bar experience, as well as in fine dining. (high end craft cocktails). I have my bachelors degree in Marketing Mgmt. from University of Arkansas.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started in college to pay for my rent & tuition. I was able to work evenings and do school during the day.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked for an extensive variety of clients, venues, and guests over the years. Some clients that you may have even heard of.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was invited to teach a private mixology class for my client’s husbands birthday celebration. It was very interactive and rewarding.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
To find someone who is not only dependable, but also has the experience necessary in an event bar service setting.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
