Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
The pricing for parties 150 people and higher is for 2 staff members. Also, I am willing to negotiate (sometimes) depending on the circumstance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I try to contact clients to get a feel for them and their needs as well as let them know a little about myself. I ask that they be honest about their expectations and I am straight forward about what they can expect from me. It helps to know if they have hired a bartender before and if so what expectations if any were not met.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've worked in multiple restaurants bartending as well as private homes and large receptions. I am also both TABC and food safety certified through the city of Houston. All of our bartenders are TABC certified as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve worked in the restaurant/bar industry for about 15 years in all capacity from server, bartender, trainer to GM.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked in private residences both causal and formal. As well as weddings, fundraisers and birthday parties. I can acclimate to both younger and older crowds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I worked a bachelorette party for a repeat client (that I met here) and it was so much fun seeing the girls have fun & loving their specialty drinks I created for them.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be honest and as specific as possible when it comes to your requests. This is YOUR event and we want it to be everything you want and more. But in order for that to happen you have to let us know if there is something that hasn't worked in the past or if you want them to create a specialty drink or bring extra equipment. Also trust that the person you are hiring (hopefully me) knows what to recommend and if you will need more than one staff member.
