How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started back in 1974. As a teenager, I would help around my parents shop, I was trained by the very best, my father and my older brothers. We have always been a family owned business. I also worked as an installer with big department stores, I worked for The Broadway, Sears and JC Penney, all in the same field.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently went to a clients home, she wanted to replace all the shutters in her home. They were in good condition. All they needed was to get repainted and a few minor repairs. For half of the cost, we were able to refurbish them. They looked like new! Mrs Montenegro from Sherman Oaks California was very pleased and satisfied .

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to all new customers, always ask to see a sample of their finished product. Always ask if their products are guaranteed. As for me, I always show my potential customers a sample of our shutters and others products so they could see and feel the materials used. I want my customers to see the way the finished job will look once it’s installed.
