Introduction

Please note we do not offer ‘service or repair only’ services on products we have not provided to you nor do we offer window film products or installation. Kindly exclude us from your selection and contact a specialist in those categories, if you seek these services. We are proud of our 5 Star rating and to be a Thumbtack Top Pro! Becoming a Top Pro isn't easy-only 4% of Thumbtack professionals qualify. We believe our Top Pro and 5 Star ratings reflect the quality of service, products and pricing we provide. You get high quality professional design services without the high price of a design firm. We offer in-home consultations where we help you select the right products and measure for custom window coverings as well as custom closet design and installations. Our window coverings include wood and faux wood blinds, cellular and roller shades, shutters, Roman shades, draperies, side panels, awnings and more. We offer motorization as well as interior and exterior products. Our pricing is consistently 30% below other window covering companies in our market. It's so much fun to help a customer plan and select their window treatments and design a new custom closet! These improvements can change the entire look of your home and provide style and function. We are here to guide you through the process and make it as easy for you as possible. We look forward to helping you!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer both remote and in person consultations for our customers convenience. All of our projects are custom-nothing is off the rack-everything is made to your exact window specifications so we will gladly prepare a customized quote for you. With that said, we can generally provide you with some upfront pricing. We are typically at least 30% less than our competitors

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First order of business is to listen to our clients' objective. We want to understand what their needs and ideas are so that we can help guide them through the process and make selections that will work for them based on what they want and need. We will help make selections, measure and quote the project for them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our designers have been in the window treatment field for many, many years and regularly attend re-certifcation courses with our vendors. We do specialize in all types of window treatments, and we also offer custom closet and garage solutions. Both are very detailed products and can be with so many variables that differ between products and manufacturers as well as each unique installation. We have the experience to guide you through every detail!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
As mentioned, we have all been in the design business for many years and really enjoy what we do! We have done every type of project and worked through every type of challenge and issue-experience counts!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with both residential and commercial clients. We can help with new construction or a remodel. We do small projects and large projects and everything in between!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Depending on the product ordered the lead time can be as short as 2 weeks or 6 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the project/order and up to 12+ weeks for some products. We will be very upfront with you about the lead time of the product you select at your consultation. We recently completed a small cottage in Sonoma where our client wanted a light, airy, beachy feel. That project was completed in just under 2 weeks in time for our client's out of town guests!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We would advise to do some research so that you are familiar with products and features. We will of course guide you, but it helps to begin a project with a general idea of what you want. Decide what your top 3 needs are. We can tell you the pros and cons and help you select something that will satisfy your desire for a quality product with good function and a good price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are they open to suggestions and recommendation? Have they done some research to get familiar with what is available? Have they saved clippings, photos or started a board on Pintrest? Have they discussed a budget?
