What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

No standard pricing system as we have so many choices for our clients. Pricing varies on product, fabrics and lifting systems, however, we are competitive in our pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically we come out, listen to the client so we can offer suggestions for their exact needs/likes as far as window coverings, then match color samples and operating systems that fit those needs. We then submit a proposal, most of the time by email If accepted we collect the deposit and place the order. Time frame depends on product order. Average time is 2-3 weeks from order to install.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

David's back ground is in new home construction. He was a project manager for 15 plus years and his area was interior trim. He did attend two years at a Junior college as well and is a Hunter Douglas Certified Installer. Training is ongoing and continuous through Hunter Douglas so all employees are kept up to date on new styles and products when it comes to window fashions.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

David always wanted his own business, he likes working with people and loves this field of work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types of customers, that's what makes the job fun! We do both commercial and residential work.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We are fond of many projects, our happiest moments are when a customer shares a "WOW' with us when the project is complete. Very rewarding experience! Most projects average 2-3 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We offer a complimentary in home consultation for all your window covering needs. We come to your home or business with all the color samples. We carry all Hunter Douglas products featuring Alustra

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

As far as window coverings, I suggest along with fashion, they also think thru what they prefer as far as lighting, privacy, and energy efficiency in each area they are wanting coverage and then ask as many questions as they need to, so they get exactly what they want.
