Introduction

I love what I do which is to help my clients enhance their spaces with beautiful window treatments. I also solve problems whether it is to secure privacy, reduce glare, increase energy efficiency, or reduce ultraviolet rays. As a former middle school teacher, I always made decisions based on what was best for my students. Now I always try to find the best solution for my clients. Bottom Line: You can always rely upon me to get the job done and to your satisfaction.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
As a full service firm we offer competitive pricing on our products. Our pricing reflects the quality service that we provide from beginning to end. We represent only those manufacturers who stand behind their products and whose products last for a long time. Many times we are able to pass along manufacturer discounted pricing to our customers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
In summary our process is simple: 1) Consult in person or by video conferencing to understand your objectives and problems you are trying to address. 2) Design your solution. Offer alternatives that are aesthetically pleasing and are within your budget. 3) Precisely measure your windows and then order your product. 4) Install your selection and train you on your new window treatments.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a member of Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) and Window Fashion Vision (WF Vision). I invest many hours a year taking courses from the leading manufacturers in the industry. I am a certified by WF Vision as a window treatment consultant.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I love the creative aspects that this work affords me. Most of all, I enjoy working with people. For me, it is highly rewarding to see the smiles on my clients' faces when the job is completed.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with customers who have limited time to mange the project of installing or replacing window treatments whether for their residence or commercial space. I completely understand the stresses and challenges of caring for a family, pursuing a career, and wanting to have a beautiful home. Our goal is to make this process as easy and efficient as possible while meeting the customer's goals and objectives. When you work with Gotcha Covered, you receive quality products and superior customer service throughout the process so you do not have to spend what precious time you have on purchasing window treatments.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently worked with a client who wanted to install motorized roller shades that would raise and lower per her defined schedule. In her particular situation, the roller shades had to be installed on the ceiling over a set of French doors. She did not want the tubes of the roller shades to be visible. Working with her carpenter, we designed a customized pelmet that would hide the tubes. The project was a raving success.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The fact of the matter is that anyone can decide to call him or herself a window treatment designer. Specifying the correct window treatments can actually be tricky and in some cases quite complex. Make sure you work with someone who is committed to you, committed to making sure the project is completed, who understands the available and suitable products and is willing to go the extra mile for you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
You should be thinking about window treatments before you start your remodel. This is especially true if you are considering power and automation. Window treatments have a significant impact on the aesthetics and quality of living in any room, so make sure you budget adequately to be able to select quality treatments that you will enjoy.
