What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Please be aware that Thumbtack charges all PRO's you send a request to a fee to respond to you. (sometimes $75+, depending on the job request) This is regardless of whether you hire us or not and every pro pays to answer your request. I only ask that if you do ask any PRO for a price or make an inquiry, that you are ready to hire someone and to please respond back to us, even if it is to say you are not interested under the terms or the stated price. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Standard Base Pricing: Smaller jobs and jobs that are "multi-task" are normally quoted hourly, have a 2 hr min and a $35 trip charge based on distance from Moncks Corner, SC. This allows me to provide all my customers with 5 Star customer service at a fair price. Pricing by the Job: In some cases, I can provide you a fixed quote up front at an agreed upon price. All quotes are subject to adjustment until agreed upon after arriving on the job site.
