What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Yes. Each window covering window is custom measured for each home so it only fits that customer home. Can't fit it anywhere else and because the measurements are different in each house pricing is not set the same for everyone.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We ask what type of blinds that are interested in so we know what color deck and samples to brings. We educate the customer based on what their needs are which type of window covering will fit that need.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been doing this over 25 years! Every year we have special training with our manufacturer over new products and features they provide.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was hired on making the blinds then worked my way up through all ranks( installer then salesman). I started getting a reputation for myself and I started to get contacted by home builders to do blinds for all their subdivision because of my reliability and consistency. Eventually, I ended up with over 120 subdivisions where I am there exclusive blind company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have done celebrities and beautiful 100 window homes. I also work with many Home builders and have contacts with some of them. I do commercial as well which is growing for us.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they can back up what they promised. How long have they been in business and are they organized?

How many windows they have? What type of window covering do they want and color.
