Introduction

Hey, I’m Andrew— The Smart Home Guy. I help homeowners take the guesswork out of smart home tech. Whether it’s smart lighting, irrigation, climate control, or security, I design systems that run themselves and make life easier. I’m also an expert in Alexa integration, so your home responds naturally to your voice and routines. I’m local, responsive, and focused on getting the job done right the first time. If you want tech that actually works for your lifestyle—not just flashy gadgets—I’ve got you covered.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing comes in three packages. Each package increases in features and price. This fee is for installation only. If the customer wants new devices, they can either provide them themselves or I can source it for you, for a slight markup just to cover procurement time and additional costs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Initially begins with an in-home consultation where we discuss your current set up, what you’d like to achieve in your project, and device recommendations. After that appointment, a follow up appointment will be made to install the equipment, and perform 1 on 1 training with customer on all the awesome features that their home is capable of.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a certified and trained Silver Parnter with Loxone, the leader in smart home technology and integration.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I fell in love with smart home technology ever since Alexa began to roll out. I was fascinated at what a smart hub like her could do for an entire home. I loved showing people how it worked and recently decided to resign from my job to pursue my dreams and doing what I love.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Residential home owners and commercial buildings as well as vacation rental owners

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I installed an automated lighting and audio system. I configured it custom to their needs. This was a premium residence in Georgetown. The entire process took around 4 hours in home installing devices and another 10+ hours programming the system (remotely)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you are getting a personalized set up experience. Someone who will take the time to train you, walk you through everything so that you are confident in using everything by the time your service has been completed

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Current configuration and which devices you are interested in installing. If you already have devices, begin thinking of ways you want to automate your home to make your life easier. This will help the integrator run a smooth install with little to no -hiccups.
