What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a free consultation, either in person or virtually, to understand your needs, style preferences, and budget. From there, we’ll take measurements and walk you through product options, whether it's blinds, shades, shutters, or custom solutions. Once you’ve made your selection, we handle ordering and schedule a professional installation at your convenience. Throughout the process, we keep communication clear and timelines efficient.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have a professional degree's and a background in SaaS sales, which has sharpened my skills in client communication, project management, and delivering tailored solutions. While BlindTech is a part-time operation, we take a professional, customer-first approach to every project. I’ve also completed hands-on training in window treatment installation and product selection to ensure we deliver high-quality results.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started BlindTech from the ground up as a side hustle — going door to door, learning the industry hands-on, and building relationships one customer at a time. Over time, I scaled it through word of mouth, consistent service, and a focus on quality and trust. What began as a small idea has grown into a reliable window solutions business with a loyal customer base.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We’ve worked with all types of residential customers — from first-time homeowners and renters to families upgrading their space and clients designing custom homes. Whether it’s a single-room refresh or a full-home window treatment project, we tailor our service to each customer’s needs, style, and budget.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project we really enjoyed involved an in-home consultation for custom automatic shades. The consult took just 45 minutes — we quickly nailed down the right fit and style. Two weeks later, we returned for the install, which was completed in under 2 hours. It was a quick, seamless experience for the homeowner, and the results completely transformed the space.
