What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I usually start with an hourly rate then compose a monthly package price for maintenance. People are surprised how much regular bookkeeping can help them make better business decisions and increase their bottom line.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically schedule a call with a potential client to see what systems they have in place of any, then provide a list of everything they will need to achieve their goals, we review expectations and deadlines. Once we agree on a plan I will send and agreement and we get started.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

On top of 15 years on the job experience I also have a degree

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started bookkeeping over 15 years ago and have worked in all sorts off different businesses from start ups to multi million dollar companies. I have worked in many industries including retail, service, doctors, real estate, non-profit, law and coaching businesses to name a few

What types of customers have you worked with?

All sorts from start ups to businesses that have been in business for years. Done include retail, service industry, doctors, contractors, engineers just to name a few.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I just did a clean up to prep Law Office for tax time... completed in 3 days. I have taken company from no books to up organized and monthly reports. I also work with companies all over the United States saving the thousands of dollars over hiring an employee.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check references, I hear horror stories about people never completing the work or not doing it correctly, make sure your bookkeeper is willing to work with your CPA and stands behind their work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should have a list of what they are trying to solve by hiring a bookkeeper as well as their expected timeline and goals.
