What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I prefer monthly billing. Determine a set price for the amount of work needed. Since i do my own work i am typically a savings from prior accounting services. Also provide wholesale pricing for payroll, quickbooks online, and other software.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Meet on the phone to discuss. I typically can meet in person in less than a week at customers convenience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a 4yr batchelors degree from Sonoma State University. I am a pro-advisor with intuit am registered tax preparer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I owned a coffee shop in San Francisco and started doing the books about 20yrs ago.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with construction companies restaurants real estate investment so proprietors. I have had the opportunity worker just about every type of company.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Developing a chart of accounts to convert a cash basis company to accrual making sure that automation was in place and was able to use third-party software such as bill.com and receipt capturing to provide a n automated accounting process for my client.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that you can communicate well with the person.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Make sure their budget for county services is clear. Understand the scope of the work that they need to have completed. Determine what you liked about your prior bookkeeper or tax person and what you didn't like.
