My typical process for working with a new customer is to understand what the needs are and to answer any questions that exist. I am always honest with my clients and expect the same from them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have completed my Master in Accounting and am an Enrolled Agent. I am now preparing to obtain CMA and CPA certifications. I am also a member of several accounting organizations and groups.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I took an Accounting course in high school. I knew then that this is what I wanted my career focus to be.

What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common types of jobs are bookkeeping and accounting services to include financial statement preparation. I also provide tax preparation, financial planning, and tax resolution services.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I completed an internal audit for a small business that resulted in the conviction of a former employee who embezzled money. This case made the news on several internet sites as well as radio stations. I also had to testify as a witness for the government.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice for a customer would be to be open with the provider and to consider ideas suggested by the provider. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions especially if you don't understand.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish customers knew about me that I'm not a pushover and only want what is best for my clients. If I don't think that something will benefit them, then I will not suggest it. For me, it's all about saving and not spending unnecessarily.
