What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

When I provide a quote under this scenario I always ask myself, would I pay the quoted fee? That's how I base my pricing. Wouldn't ask someone to pay something I wouldn't be willing to pay.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Ask a lot of questions and listen to what the person is saying. Determine what the goals are then determine what is the most effective way to accomplish that.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an enrolled agent authorized to practice before the IRS. Rigorous continuing education requirement required each year and I commit myself to far exceed what is required each year. Never to old to learn something new in any aspect of life.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My own CPA and best friend of 30 years convinced me that this would be a good fit and watching my other clients being taken advantage by National Tax Resolution Firms. Wished I would made the decision long before I did.

What types of customers have you worked with?

People from all walks of life. From people in the trades to Doctors and Engineers. I like working with people regardless of what they do and there background.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently got a state to accept a substantial settlement on past due taxes getting them to accept $1200.00 on a $27000.00 balance. Best part of it is they are taking payment at the rate of $100.00 a month. Took six months to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find out who is actually doing the work. You don't want someone who just plugs numbers in software. What is important is what you want and the organization is looking out for your best interests not there's.
