What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At EAS Income Tax Services, we prioritize transparency by offering clear, upfront pricing. For tax preparation services, we provide fixed rates that are quoted before any work begins, ensuring there are no surprises. Our bookkeeping services come with affordable monthly pricing tailored to fit your business needs.

Throughout the tax preparation or resolution process, we assign specific tasks and provide regular updates, so you always know exactly where we are. Our goal is to keep everything transparent, organized, and stress-free from start to finish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in tax resolution and tax preparation. In addition to my CPA certification, I’m also a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, which means I’ve undergone specialized training to help individuals and businesses resolve complex IRS issues such as audits, tax debt, and unfiled returns.
These credentials require rigorous education and ongoing training to stay up to date with the latest tax laws and resolution strategies. My background, combined with years of hands-on experience, allows me to provide expert guidance and personalized solutions for a wide range of tax problems.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my career after graduating cum laude from the University of Washington’s School of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. From there, I honed my skills at KPMG-Seattle, one of the Big 4 accounting firms, where I served as a Senior Accountant in both Tax and Audit divisions.
My career evolved as I transitioned into corporate leadership roles, most notably as Corporate Controller and Vice President of a mid-sized, privately held capital investment and management firm. My extensive financial acumen and hands-on experience with operational leadership enabled me to master the complexities of business finance, helping clients navigate through challenging financial landscapes.
What types of customers have you worked with?
As a seasoned tax professional, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from individuals and families to small businesses and self-employed professionals. I’ve helped clients with everything from routine tax preparation to complex IRS issues, including audits, tax debt resolution, and unfiled returns.
In addition to individuals, I’ve worked with businesses across various industries, including real estate, healthcare, retail, and professional services. Whether it’s managing the tax obligations of a small business or resolving years of IRS problems, I provide tailored solutions that meet each customer’s unique needs.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked with a tax resolution client who was facing an IRS audit with a hefty $75,000 tax bill. After reviewing the case, I discovered that the IRS had made significant errors in their calculations and misinterpreted key areas of tax law. By presenting a strong case and walking the IRS through their mistake, I was able to get the error corrected in just three weeks. In the end, my client’s bill dropped from $75,000 to less than $1,000—an incredible turnaround that brought them much-needed relief.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a tax professional, especially for tax resolution or IRS-related issues, look for someone with both experience and credentials. I recommend choosing a provider who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and ideally a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, as these qualifications demonstrate a deep understanding of tax law and resolution strategies.
It’s also important to find someone who offers transparent, upfront pricing, so you know exactly what to expect. Make sure they prioritize clear communication and provide tools like a client portal for secure, seamless interaction. Finally, work with someone who takes a personalized approach, offering solutions tailored to your unique tax situation, not a one-size-fits-all service. You want a partner who will take the time to understand your needs and provide long-term support.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before speaking with a tax professional, it's important to clarify a few key details about your situation. First, understand the specific tax issue you're facing—whether it's unfiled returns, tax debt, an IRS audit, or general tax preparation. Being clear on your needs will help the professional provide more accurate guidance.
Next, think about your financial situation and have relevant documents ready, such as previous tax returns, notices from the IRS, and income or expense records. It’s also useful to consider your budget and what kind of pricing structure works for you, whether it’s fixed fees or ongoing services like bookkeeping.
Finally, consider your long-term goals: Are you just looking to solve an immediate issue, or do you need ongoing tax support and planning? Having these questions in mind will help you have a more productive conversation and ensure you find the right fit for your needs.
