Introduction

Prepare individual and business tax return. I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor so I can help setup, cleanup or regularly maintain your books. Finally I am a specialist when it comes to tax resolution cases. From IRS debt to state debt, I can help provide options to you in resolving your case. When you watch tv and hear about the ‘Fresh Start Initiative’ and hear how an offer in compromise can help you, you must realize that less than 1% of all tax resolution cases end up with an offer. There are many other avenues to take, and I can go over each one with you. I take pride knowing that I am an asset to my clients. My team and I are fully committed and have the expertise to handle your specific situation.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
The pricing is based on a few factors, the main factor is the level of complexity. For example, our hourly bookkeeping rates are not as high as our business consulting rates. All prices will be provided upfront and in writing, and if you need a detailed explanation, one will be provided.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The most common answer given in this profession is…. It depends. If you are a client that needs tax preparation assistance, I will schedule a meeting to go over the previous return as well as give you a detailed list of items that I need in order to prepare your current return. If, for example you are in need of tax resolution assistance, first I will send you a client questionnaire that will help me assess your case and take action quickly. If you are a non-profit that files a 990, in order to maintain your status, you must file at least a 990N form every three years. I say all that to say that each client will be handled differently, but the goal in each interaction is to make sure you receive quality service at a reasonable cost.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University. I am licensed by the state of Georgia as a CPA and I am an Enrolled Agent as well. I am also a certified QuickBooks pro-advisor. Since the tax changes this year are the largest in 30 years, my continuing professional education for 2018 was triple that of any other year.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I am a business person at heart, so speaking to clients about their business dreams and aspirations was always a very enjoyable experience. I received my accounting education at the university of Georgia and after a few years as an entrepreneur, I focused on my skill sets as an accountant and obtained my CPA license. Although I assist larger companies, working with individuals and owner operators is always exciting and fulfilling. Seeing an idea become a company is always a great joy, but it always takes a lot of work and determination.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I am very experienced with individual, corporate and non-profit returns. I also provide QuickBooks assistance, as well as company formation assistance. My true passion is tax resolution.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I assisted a small business in setting up a company. I assisted with the preparation of the formation documents, payroll, QuickBooks setup and the business plan. The process took 3 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Quality and experience matter above all else. Also, it is great to have someone that can talk you through the process and make you feel at ease.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ask what your desired outcome is and who is most equipped to get you to that goal. By defining the project, a client will have an easier time selecting a professional to work with. Also, try to see if this can be an ongoing relationship, which will save you time in having to interview firms, and adjust to the professional.
