Legacy Tax Services will provide you with a fixed, competitive flat rate based on your needs. We will never change the flat fee or provide hidden ones. We believe in transparently giving you upfront pricing that can help you make an informed decision. We are in the stress reduction business and believe firmly in not adding stress where you already have it!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We assess your needs in tiers of for specialty services: Tax Preparation/ Planning, Tax Resolution, Ancillary Services (accounting, payroll, entity planning), and Debt Resolution (we work with 3 different high-level firms within this specialty). Within each specialty, we start our client stress-reduction process by: 1. Discover what needs to be done by determining the problem, which includes contacting the any outside agencies, gathering materials, and strategy looking at the big picture. 2. We then determine and suggest a solution and give a plan of action and the flat rate. No surprises. 3. Implement the solution and reduce your stress!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our founder, Stephan Brewer is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) through the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. He is also a Fellow through the National Tax Professionals Institute and received his Juris Scientiae Magister from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. We look for the same high standards of excellence in our hiring practices.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Helping people reduce their stress through tax preparation/planning, tax resolution, consumer debt settlement, profit maximization (coaching) and our other ancillary services gave us personal satisfaction. We love what we do in solve tax problems and providing debt resolution, and we’re proud to declare that we’re in the stress reduction business!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

In a recent action for a couple in Arizona, we were able to obtain an Offer In Compromise by reduced their tax debt by over 306K! The process took about 8 months but by the end, we were so happy to have been able to help them.

Check their BBB Accreditation - Tax Resolution firms should be accredited with the Better Business Bureau. Accreditation with the BBB means the BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards, which includes a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. Check the number of complaints with the Better Business Bureau and how they were resolved. 4. Check that the firm discloses the ownership structure. 5.
