EasyBooks, PLLC is a small boutique firm located in the DFW Metroplex area. How we stand Out : We provide value to our clients, by not being a routine accountant or CPA, but being their strategic partner and helping them resolve accounting tax and payroll issues in a timely way. We answer our clients via text or email within 12-18 hours, so our clients can make an informed decision. It is our firm's passion to help new start-ups and small business. As a CPA, I enjoy seeing a text in the morning or an email when a client would ask me a question if a certain expense can be deducted for tax purposes or how do i void something in the accounting software or how do i calculate my estimated payments to IRS. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Every client we serve is unique. Hence, its difficult to come up with a standard pricing system. But our rates are competitive and the quality of our work is top notch.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I usually do a initial consultation on the phone to make sure what services the client needs. After that, i usually write up a services agreement and meet the client in person, explaining our game plan and due dates for accomplishing the project

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Education: I have a bachelors in accounting, MBA in Finance, and a licensed CPA in the state of Texas - License # 098830 Work Experience: 8 years a s a Accounting Manager for a fortune 500 company. And 4 years as a auditor - in- charge in a National Accounting firm.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started out of my house, doing book keeping part time for a few of my long time customers. I just have the passion to help small business owners and startups.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All different kinds from individuals needing a tax return done, to corporations, non-profits, small IT firms. I work with small business get caught up with their book keeping and i also help small clients get ready for their annual audits.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project which i completed was for a small manufacturing firm in Irving, Texas who needed audit prep before the auditors would arrive. It was a tight deadline of 2 weeks, but we successfully finished the project and got them ready for audit. It took us about 2 weeks to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to make sure there is a good understanding between your CPA and the client. Always provide a service agreement where everything is written down in clear terms.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1) Be open with your accountant - be upfront with your CPA. 2) Explain your business needs and ask the accountant if the project make sense in the long run.
