What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge by the Tax Form in order to get the price. But I always give free Tax Return estimates before filing, so there are no surprise fees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always listen to what the customer has to say in order to resolve their tax situation. And then I would consult with them the answer and get the return as soon as I can.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been doing Tax Returns for 3 executive tax seasons. I also have been doing accounting work for 2 Tax seasons as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got a job in a CPA office.

What types of customers have you worked with?

People with Jobs, Retirement forms, on Unemployment, on Social Security, Sole Proprietor's, Rental income, Gambling winnings, College Students, Investments such as Dividends and Interest, and Selling Investment proceeds. I also do Bookkeeping work for Small Businesses.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I just do a lot of tax returns and it usually takes 30-50 min to get them done, depending on the size of the Tax Return.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always talk to Tax professional (such as a Tax Preparer, Enrolled Agent, CPA, or a Tax Attorney) to get the best out of your Tax Return.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Always ask for a good explanation of the project. For example; How much am I getting or paying? and why? And what are the consequences of not paying or getting the project sent on time?
