Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing for PhotoBooth starts at $350/2 hrs, and $150 for each additional hour. This is all inclusive! Onsite attendant, custom template design, unlimited prints, props, social media station and more. There are no set up or travel fees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We pride ourselves in customizing our services for each of our clients events. We try to get as much info about the event as possible. This way we can be ready for types of lighting for event photography, or customize the prints or start screen for our PhotoBooths.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We are constantly striving keep with all the latest by upgrading PhotoBooth software and products, to attending photography seminars and workshops put on by Canon and more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
For Photography, I started in High School shooting only on film with an SLR. This really taught me all the ins and outs of the camera and how to adapt to different lighting without a preview screen on the back of the camera. For PhotoBooth, we started before there was PhotoBooth software available. It took myself on a camera tethered to a computer, then another person on that computer moving photos manually in PhotoShop and printing. Now everything is touchscreen and automated.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked everything from small private event and weddings, to corporate event for 10,000 plus guests.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently did an Engagement Photo Shoot for a couple at The Stub Center, home of the Los Angeles Galaxy MLS team. We were there with the run of the field. Being down on the grass give a different perspective at the size of the place. It was great being able to do this custom shoot for this couple at a location not many people get to use. Earlier in the year we also shot an event at Staples Center where Kareem Abdul Jabar was honoring some local High School Students at center court before the game.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do your homework! Ask if they are licensed and insured? Have they done event similar to yours? Do they have examples they can show you they shot themselves? Are they a Full Time Photographer/PhotoBooth, or do they only do it on the side?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Is the professional I am hiring fully licensed and insured to meet my venues and event needs?
