Introduction

Photography isn’t my side job or exciting hobby; this is my full time career and I put everything into it. My passion for photography started as a teenager when I found my love for the beauty of nature, sunsets, and adventure. It then grew so much stronger as I traveled the world and couldn’t put my camera down, wanting to capture every moment of the cultures, rich history, unique architecture, beautiful landscapes, etc that every country has to offer. After becoming a mother, I discovered a new love of photography: family lifestyle portraiture. Every family has such a special love with fabulous quirks. I am so grateful to be a part of freezing those moments and unique bonds on camera for a family to cherish for a lifetime. Because I am so passionate about my photography and truly love what I do, I can promise great results from every one of my photo sessions. Additionally, I do not require “package purchasing” once my edits are finalized. My pricing is simple. You can pick and choose as many prints/downloads from your session that you’d like, priced by size.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I charge $300 for a one hour photoshoot which will guarantee at least 50 fully edited photos available for purchase individually as downloads and/or prints. I do not require that you purchase a package/bundle to get the prints you want. The photos are priced by size for prints and a general price for digital downloads. I consider my pricing for prints and downloads very inexpensive as my art, talent, and time goes into the photoshoot and my editing. After that, I want my clients to enjoy the photos stress free as they please.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
For real estate photography, I offer a wide angle comprehensive photos of the interior and exterior of the home. I also offer drone photography, video virtual tours using on Osmo with gimble, and 3D Matterport Imaging. Depending on the services requested, the photoshoot can take 1-2.5 hours. For portrait photoshoots, I schedule the photoshoot for one hour during golden hour any day of the week (approximately 1hour before sunset). All photoshoots are outside unless it’s a newborn photoshoot. In that case, the photoshoot would be at the clients home. I pose my clients in a variety of positions in several settings. I guarantee at least 30 fully edited photos from the photoshoot. A link to the photos are sent to the client within two weeks of the photoshoot. Downloads and prints can be ordered straight from there. As much or as little photos can be purchased; I do not require package purchasing. I work with families to be comfortable during the photoshoot and I help guide my clients into attractive positions while also working to capture the moments of connection between a family candidly. We work together to make the photoshoot a fun experience for all.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with families/couples mostly. I love milestone photoshoots for babies/toddlers/children as I am a mother and know how quickly they grow up and how precious those photos are. I also have a second love for motorcycles and classic cars and enjoy those photoshoots as well.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What to wear? How to adjust for weather? What kind of setting outside do you prefer? Are props involved? Change of clothing? What’s your plan for the photos, ie wall art gallery, photo book, social media downloads, gifting? Seasonal photos vs traditional classic photos?
