Hello there! I’m William Fields, a dedicated and passionate photographer/videographer based in Washington, DC. My love of photography was born out of my love of travel. While exploring other countries and cultures, I was using my phone to document the people that I met and the places that I have been. This led me to buy my first professional-level camera; it has been with me ever since. Immersing myself in the world of photography has allowed me to capture the raw, intimate, and joyful moments that make each wedding unique. With a keen eye for detail and a profound understanding of light and composition, I strive to produce images that reflect the love and emotion of your special day. I consider my photography style to be timeless, as I aim to create photos that couples can treasure forever. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My prices are flexible to a degree. I always like to be fair. I never go over the price I quote unless the customer ask for something that would require an additional fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Have face to face/virtual conversation to get their expectations. Allow both sides to ask and answer any questions. Try to have examples of the type of work they are requesting if known ahead of time.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always had a fascination with photography. At the start of the pandemic I had more time to dedicate to this.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with adults and children as young as 3. I approach everyone with the same professional, kindness, and respect that they deserve.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most recently I worked with a family that wanted to do photos of the children, ages 3-7. They wanted both group and candid pictures. It was a great experience. The shoot took a little under 2hrs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions and provide as much detail as possible. Also, set realistic expectations.
