Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I am a highly collaborative photographer willing to work alongside my clients to bring their vision to life. In some cases I am handed the reigns to that vision and through this collaborative effort we are able to achieve an amazing result every time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Getting to know the customer is vital. I want to be sure that we connect on a level that goes beyond just a transactional interaction. Understanding what makes someone tick is the best way to capture the essence of their being.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have studied photography for over 15 years and I am always learning. It is an art form that can never be mastered but the willingness to learn along the way is most important.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started out with photography as a hobby a loooong time ago and finally decided to turn my passion for the trade in to a business in 2017. It has been nothing short of rewarding. I absolutely love what I do. The old saying is true, if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with customers from all walks of life, from the shy and timid, to outgoing and personable. In every scenario my clients have walked away with a smile on their face and amazing photos.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My latest studio shoot with a budding singer, actress and model was so much fun. We used a 2 strobe setup and all photos were shot in my studio. In total we spent about 2 hours shooting.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Trust your instinct and find someone who will bring your vision to life. If you don’t have a vision, spend some time talking to your photographer and collaborate. Through this process you will know if it’s the right fit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
To me it’s really about rapport. Are you comfortable working with the person taking your photos. Talk to your photographer and express your desired results. It is my opinion that the photographer should be asking the vast majority of the questions to ensure they are clear on the clients vision.
