Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
A lot of my pricing it laid out for you on my website, as I try to be very transparent when it comes to my rates. Portrait Sessions (excluding headshots for multiple individuals - please contact me for this info) are $285, and I include 5 High Resolution Digital Images of your choice with this fee. Additional digitals can be purchased individually, or I have several pricing bundles from here. Event rates are $285/hour of coverage, with a two hour minimum, and include all of the high resolution digital images. Have a shorter event like an elopement, small gathering, etc? I have a discounted package for you. Let's talk. :) Proposals are a flat rate of $375 for the time and all of the high resolution digital images. Is your event a little unique from what is shared above? Don't hesitate to let me know so that I can give you a custom quote. My Photography Class schedule and pricing is on my website for you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I love to connect with you to understand your expectations, the details of your event, and any stylistic vision for your photos. ***************************************, to take a look at my work so that you can see my quality of work, style, and range of my experience at a glance to make sure you feel I am a good fit for you. From there, we get your date on the calendar, discuss payment options, brainstorm together to find an ideal location (if needed), and I will connect with you by phone, email, or text leading up to your session or event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have worked under the guidance of a number of elite photographers here in San Antonio, and have been in business on my own for the last 17 years. I have devoted countless hours to growing, studying lighting, technique, posing, positioning, and much more. I have photographed hundreds of events and portrait sessions, as well as assisted and worked with other photography companies. My work has been published in San Antonio Weddings Magazine, Bride Magazine, The Wedding Guide, and many local news publications.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
From the time I was very young, I had an interest in photography, and always had a camera in my hand. When I was a young mom, I wound up taking a job with a local photographer handling customer service, sales, marketing, and later editing, production, and assistant shooting. One thing lead to another, and I knew I had found my passion.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have been privileged to work with such a broad range of clients over the course of the last 17 years. I love getting to hear the story that each client brings to me. The stories of how a couple met, or the journey to the celebratory moment, the plans a graduating senior has, or the amazing performance of a team at a corporate event. I'd say one of the most odd/unique shoots I have ever done, was photographing trees for 18 hours for a client that had a business that preserved and relocated trees. Haha, never a dull moment.
