Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is simple. You pay the photo session fee at the time of the shoot. - You’ll get a free online proofing gallery shortly after the photo session from which to make your final selections. - You receive with your fee up to ten (10) edited images from the session. - Large jpeg images are delivered to you via USB drive, or online via FTP sites like Dropbox. I can edit, retouch, or improve any small issues as needed. I can also re-size image file for specific applications. - You get permission to use, copy, share or print the images as needed. If you need more than ten images from the session they are $5 per image for edited finals. Please inquire for specifics. Of course, I’d be happy to assist if you need help ordering prints or other print media.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Since I have needed to switch to digital a few years back I have worked extensively in learning to keep up with working with digital media. I have worked in Photoshop for many years and have a good command of the way it works to improve my photography.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I fell in love with photography in high school and been doing it ever since. I've been working on and off with a camera of some sort for 30+ years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I provide beautiful and colorful images of people. I make everyone shine in their pics. People enjoy working with me (see my reviews), and once we get started, you will relax and be amazed on how many great photos we get, and how easy it is! I am great at working with people who are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with getting their photos taken. I work with business professionals, families, actors, models, and performers and personalities of all types. We shoot in a low key manner, and I have many great areas for lighting in my studio to make you look your best.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am proud of many jobs. I love working with all sorts of people and I'm proud that I can make folks feel comfortable in front of a camera quickly

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
That YOU can look great in your photos! Trust me. It's a matter of understanding the elements of great people photography. I do understand and work with you to create your photographic vision, no matter what it may be.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Getting great images is a matter of planning and working. I have many clients who bring in concepts and ideas of what they need. When I have the concept, my job is to break it down into the photographic elements of the shot. Locations, studio, lighting, and camera angles all play into the element of a photo. I tell many clients "it's a matter of inches" because even holding your head this way or slightly that way can make a huge difference in a image.
