unfold fold
We charge per person along with a service fee of 12% to cover labor cost and administrative fees needed for the event.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When a customer is requesting a quote we typically like to speak with them first to get a great understanding of the type of event they are having. We like to be personable with customers to let them know we care and make sure they have a lasting memory on the food and the service we provide.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
My education stems from many years of working in the restaurant, working under chefs and also managing restaurants.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My mom taught me how to cook when I was 10 years old. I really took time to learn how she cooked by feel and taste. The rest is history. I’ve enjoyed cooking ever since. My first restaurant job was Hardee’s. To me that was the hardest restaurant job I ever had. It taught me the work I needed to do what I do now.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We worked with young, old, corporate, churches

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I created my own bbq sauce called Chef Dave’s Thunder BBQ Sauce. I’ve started about 2 years ago during the pandemic now I’ll looking to get it in stores. It’s currently on our website.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would advise them to do their research. Take a look at there website, reviews, who they cater to the most and definitely make sure they are licensed and insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
They need to know how much they are willing to spend. Sometimes customers want the luxury of having the bells and whistles but don’t want to pay the price.
