unfold fold
I offer a 1/2 day rate of 1200.00 and full day rate of 2000.00 plus expenses (photo assistant, studio rental, props, etc) for commercial jobs. If you have a small job ( small product shots, headshot, etc) pricing is 350.00 for the first hour and 150.00 for each additional hr.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I will put together an estimate based on the job description and we can do a meet and greet at the location before the job begins. When finished, all files are uploaded and categorized to box.com and stored indefinitely.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
AA in photography at Palomar college / Freelance assistant with many commercial photographers before branching out on my own. (Can do a bit of video too!)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Fell in love with the magic of the darkroom.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Environmental portraits - Product - Food - Medical photography

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent shoot I am proud is shooting 360 degree images of hot tubs. Having to build a custom turn table to hold the spa and get a smooth rotation of 36 images for 18 spas was a challenge. This was a two day shoot and 3-4 weeks of post production clipping out all the images and putting them into a workable gif.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Provide examples of the style you desire and a detailed shot list.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What style do I want to represent my company. How the images are going to be used in their layout. What is needed to clearly communicate the story, emotion or explain how the product works.
