At least not me. We work hard, we stay up late editing, we have lives to live which means we have expenses to cover. I'm flexible with ALL budgets so present your true budget up front and we'll work from there. YES: "I would love to get this type of picture done, but I'm on a very tight budget of $___. Would you still be willing to work with me?" Of course!! 😊 BIG NO NO: Present a budget of $300 and ask to pay $150. 🤨

-After a brief rundown of the basic needs (date/time/location) I'll offer a bit of "homework" if new clients aren't sure what they want their vision is for the images. If there are certain visual elements and techniques the client wishes to feature in their images then I'll ask them for a visual reference to act a guide. -When meeting the customer the day of the shoot, for example anything last minute, it is mandatory that we meet somewhere public first. This is just to keep everyone's safety in mind as well as use it as a chance to get any food breaks, restroom breaks, outfit changes, etc. out of the way to prevent the shoot from getting interrupted. -We will always discuss details prior to booking, but on the day of the shoot I will run through them again just to make sure there were no changes that need to be accommodated. -Dress code. I have a background in personal styling/visual merchandising and store displays. If there ANY questions concerning wardrobe or set building/location use I'm more than happy to assist. There is no question too small. For styled shoots I like to plan for a clean/ organized shoot so that there is less to edit out and a faster turnaround time for your pictures. Personal styling is free with all bookings! - Finally, the photographer isn't the only one who creates the artwork so I like to make sure anyone in front of my lens is at ease. No matter what the goal is to have fun, be creative, and feel excited to be photographed so I will always ask the customer how comfortable they or any other party is in front of the camera. - Editing takes time! Sorting through hundreds of photos and then editing them takes a lot of time so patience is key. I always communicate when the edits will be done and quote the due date based on what's realistic for my schedule. If I can get them to you sooner than what was quoted I always will! NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR RAW/UNEDITED FILES.

I graduated with an Associates degree in Digital Imaging and have been self-taught since. Photography is one the many fun arts that is best learned by self-guidance after a point. I've always loved all forms of photography so simply by being eager to learn, studying/practicing techniques when possible, I can then execute and deliver imagery I'm happy to share with clients.

Like many I took a black and white film photo 101 course in my junior year of high school. My teacher told me I had a good eye that just needed some training, but that I was a natural. That encouragement was all it took for me to realize I had a passion for photography.

I have worked with customers ranging in ages from all different backgrounds. I make sure I keep this job as a true mixing pot. My goal is not to have a portfolio of safe imagery. My goal is to make anyone and everyone feel happy with who they are and see a picture of themselves that makes them embrace that to the fullest. NOTE: When you work with me you are in a safe space for any and all walks of life. If you have a disability (visible or not) just let me know ahead of time how I can be more accommodating. My favorite project I've done recently is the Fibs and Fables Launch Collection . This project is featured on my profile to view. With this project I was able to combine my experience in visual merchandising/ personal styling to style multiple fun looks on the model all within the same location, similar lighting, and limited time frame. I like to see what can be done with the light around me without adding a flash and we were able to land a beautiful "romantic" effect from the fluorescent lighting. My favorite part of the project was how much fun the brand owner had and how excited she was seeing the pictures prior to minor edits. I love seeing customers get excited over the work before it's completed!

I would say to be open minded to creative vision as we are first and foremost artist so in some ways while you're paying for our skill set you are also paying for our creativity. It's also important to remember that the customer knows best. If you are satisfied with your image then that is all that matters. While we can provide creativity some customers want what they want and that is absolutely ok! At the same time if you're satisfied, but the photographer expresses there could be ways to take the image from good to great then hear them out and decide if you're comfortable giving their idea a chance. I believe all creative interactions should be a collaborative effort!

-Can this photographer shoot more than one style? -Is this photographer worth paying slightly more in order to get this level of quality? -Will I be able to have a say in the editing process? -The photographer was honest and doesn't have much experience with this style of photography, but I enjoy their other work. Am I o.k. being the first customer? - Is Whitney Ingram free to shoot [insert date]? If so should I book her? (the answer is always yes) - ACCESSIBILITY: Can this photographer work with me if I have any sort of condition that could be considered a disability. More importantly: does this photographer make me comfortable in my own skin or do I feel like they might exploit my disability? (you should never feel left out, but you should never feel singled out either)
