To compete, most photographers will try to get as many shoots as possible and charge low prices to do so. That means less time editing, rushed shoots, and lower overall quality. Over the years, I’ve learned that it’s all about 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 over quantity. I’ve found that my clients are much more satisfied paying for shoots to be done with intention rather than carelessness. I take my shoots seriously but, make sure that they are still fun and relaxed. As long as the clients show up on time, sessions only take under an hour without ever feeling rushed, stressful, or awkward. Many of my clients have never taken photos before. I’ve perfected the strategy to get that candid look that makes for a perfect photo. 😊📸 I am usually very busy, but I’m flexible and always willing to adjust services to meet the needs of my clients. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing can be negotiated. I don’t charge for editing. I include 10-15 edited images at no extra cost! :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Work with them to chose a location, figure out exactly they are looking for, shoot, send the client their edited photos!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

4 year film production degree. 2 years of photography courses.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I took a photography class in high school and fell in love with it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with almost every type of customer. Of course you get some that are more difficult than others but I have loved every experience :)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project i worked on that I loved was a couples shoot. It really made me feel good to see how happy they were with their final photos!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure to ask your photographer for all of the details and how many images you’d like edited! And make sure you hire me ;)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about what type of shoot they want and the dates they were wanting to do them. They should get as much information from the photographer as possible. It should be a team effort!
