$90.00/hour shop rate $1500.00 project minimum We specialize in premium, custom carpentry and built-ins designed for discerning homeowners seeking exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Due to the nature of our work, we are typically not able to accommodate small repairs or low-budget requests. Our pricing reflects: • Meticulous attention to detail • Ethically sourced, high-quality materials • Design-forward craftsmanship • Transparent, professional communication throughout every phase of the project We’re a great fit for clients who value lasting quality, clean design, and expert execution.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. Initial consultation: We talk on the phone to determine exactly what you are looking for and I give you a ballpark quote. 2. Design/Estimate: If you approve of the quote, we will schedule an on-site estimate (if need be). I will create a set of drawings and a detailed estimate of the final project. I charge $100-$300 for a on-site estimate, a detailed quote and a drawing set (this is waived if the final project bid is accepted). 3. Work Order: We finalize a total project cost, agree on a payment schedule and begin work. 4. Delivery: We bring your item straight to you and install it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've always loved working with my hands. I grew up apprenticing under my father who is a master carpenter and general contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from UC Berkeley, I began to apply my design and engineering skills to creating custom furniture and performing high end residential remodels throughout the Bay Area.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types! As a carpenter I've done repairs and worked on full remodels and everything in between. Whether you're looking for someone hang a door, fabricate custom furniture or design a set of cabinets for your living room, I'm here to help.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I was recently hired to refinish a cherry wood wardrobe that, upon inspection, was deemed beyond repair. When the client said they were going to throw out the broken piece, I offered to use the salvageable wood to make them something unique. With their blessing I made a mid-century modern / danish inspired night stand entirely from salvaged wood. Take a look at it in my photos!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
1. Ask lots of questions! I'm here to work with you to find the best solution to any problem you might have. 2. Set realistic expectations! Be open and flexible to the process as we find the right solution for you. 3. Don't get seduced by HGTV and YouTube/TikTok tutorials! They get paid to make content, not to build things correctly.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Figure out a budget in advance. We operate with financial transparency and are dedicated to finding the right solution that works in your price range.
